FAQs

  • We do not allow the use of any bikes, skateboards, or rollerblades on the course.

  • As much as we would like your furry friend to join us, we can’t have them on the course.

  • Strollers and Baby Joggers will be permitted in the One Mile Run/Walk only, and should start from the back of the race field.

  • 5K- 55 minutes

    1K- 30 minutes

  • Water Stations can be found at the start, midway through the race, and at the finish line.

  • You are able to park at Glenbrook North Highschool in the north and east parking lots. There will also be available parking at Highland Baking Company on the east side of Sherman Road.

  • Along with contributing to the Les Turner ALS Foundation, you will receive a wicking athletic shirt, access to hydration and food stations, support from first aid stations, and access to the finisher’s expo.

  • Look out for the “Smile Mile” at Mile 2 sponsored by Dentistry for Kids. We’ll be snapping pictures and posting them to our Instagram account.

  • Packet pick-up is hosted at Maple School in the cafetorium on May 19th, 2023 from 4:30-6:30 pm. Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race in Maple’s cafetorium.

  • The start and finish line both take place on Maple School’s property, and entertainment and music will be provided. On course spectating is encouraged and the out and back course allows for multiple opportunities to view your runner/walker.
